What's Hibiki?
It has been 20 years since we started our business overseas. From the beginning, we have felt that Japanese culture and philosophy, such as ramen, anime, and karate, are in demand in many countries. As a symbol of this, the number of foreign visitors to Japan in 2003 was 5 million, while in 2019 it will be over 30 million.
We believe that the ancient Japanese philosophies that emphasize harmony with nature, understanding of people, compassion, hospitality, respect, and reverence, such as Shinto and Bushido, which represent Japanese culture and philosophy, are one of the most needed elements in the world these days.
On the other hand, however, in learning Japanese, one of the most important elements to convey these philosophies, the number of learners has remained unchanged at 3.7 million for the past 10 years, which is not a high percentage in the world.
Using cutting-edge technologies such as AI and Metaverse, we provide an environment for learning Japanese and regularly hold exchange programs for members to interact with each other online and offline.
